Annual elections to CIRCAC’s Board of Directors will take place at our annual meeting, April 14th, 2023. We are also looking for committee volunteers (see below). For more information on how to participate, email shayloncochra@circac.org.

 

Cook Inlet Regional Citizens Advisory Council

 

Concerned Citizens Needed

 

Cook Inlet Regional Citizens Advisory Council (CIRCAC) is seeking interested volunteers to serve as Public Members on our two standing committees – the Prevention, Response, Operations & Safety Committee (PROPS), and the Environmental Monitoring Committee (EMC). Applicants must be a resident of the Cook Inlet or Kodiak Island areas. These committees establish and review the work plans and budgets for Council programs and projects, and typically meet three times a year. There is no compensation, although all meeting expenses are paid. Meetings are held within the Cook Inlet and Kodiak Island areas.

If you are interested in oil industry operations or environmental matters in Cook Inlet and Kodiak Island areas and would like to serve as a public member for a 3 year term beginning in April of 2023, submit a letter of interest and bio by March 17 to CIRCAC, 8195 Kenai Spur Highway, Kenai, AK 99611, or e-mail to shayloncochran@circac.org.
