Capt. Christopher Culpepper relieved Capt. Leanne Lusk and will oversee the Coast Guard’s largest sector in terms of geographic area, exercising authority in a jurisdiction extending throughout the Arctic and Western Alaska, the North Slope, the Aleutian Islands, Prince William Sound, and Cook Inlet. Capt. Culpepper will also serve as an Ex-Officio member of the Council.

Capt. Culpepper and his staff have already stopped by the CIRCAC office in Kenai, where we were able to give a brief presentation about the organization’s mission, history and current projects. We very much look forward to working with Capt. Culpepper over the next three years and expect our long and positive relationship with the Coast Guard to continue.
