CIRCAC staff were invited to participate in an orientation and tour day at Cook Inlet Spill Response, Inc. (CISPRI) on April 13th.
Members of the United States Coast Guard were also in attendance from Homer and Anchorage. The orientation was an opportunity for USCG personnel to learn more about the response and operations capabilities of CISPRI. CIRCAC staff were also able to give a brief presentation about the formation and history of our organization and the role CIRCAC staff play in drills and response efforts, often being invited in an advisory capacity and working closely with federal agencies and partners.
Our relationship with the USCG is among the most important we maintain and we look forward to all opportunities to meet with the personnel rotating into the Cook Inlet region.
