Spark Platform Data

Description

Platform Spark is one of four platforms operated by Marathon in Cook Inlet and is one of three in the Trading Bay Field and one of two platforms in the North Trading Bay Lease Unit. It produces oil, natural gas and water.  Produced water is separated on-board and the oil is shipped with oil via one 6" pipeline to the Granite Point-Unocal Production Facility, where water is separated. Natural gas is separated on-board; part is flared and the balance is shipped via another 6" pipeline to the Granite Point-Unocal Production Facility. The platform was installed by ARCO in 1969, and operation has been temporarily suspended as of January 1992.
